Dr. Raphael Dias Machado is a neurosurgeon with specialized training in Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Surgery in Brazil and Canada.
He graduated in Medicine from Universidade Estácio de Sá and completed his medical residency in Neurosurgery at Hospital Municipal Miguel Couto, with training recognized by the MEC and the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery.
After completing his residency, he pursued a fellowship in Neuro-Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at the Brazilian National Cancer Institute, in Rio de Janeiro. He then furthered his international training at Toronto Western Hospital, in Canada, where he remained from 2022 to 2024.
His career combines experience in treating neuro-oncological diseases and complex skull base conditions with national and international training.
